2012 Youth Program Registration

Registration for the Youth Program Lottery is closed. Please fill out the form below to register for the 2012 Sail Newport Youth Program Wait-List.

Registration Guidelines:

If you are registering multiple students for different programs (Dinghy, Keelboat, or Little Guppies), please submit separate registrations for each program. Failure to submit separate registrations for each program can result in undesired placement of students.

Registrations are to be filled out ONLY by a parent or legal guardian of the student(s). Unrelated students may not be pooled as siblings.

Please look carefully at our Schedule of Classes before registering. Please indicate which session(s) your child can attend in the "Prior Sailing Experience" field.

Quick Reference for Sailing Programs:

Dinghy Program - Two-week session for ages 7 through 17 for all skill levels. Classes are taught in Optimists, Bugs, Hunter140's and 420's. Students must have turned 7 before January 1, 2012 to participate.

Keelboat Program - One-week session for ages 12 - 17 for all skill levels. Classes are taught in J/22's. Students must have turned 12 before January 1, 2012 to participate.

Little Guppies - One-week session for students aged 5 - 7, experiential class taught shore-side and in Optimist Trainers. Students must have turned 5 before January 1, 2012 and must not have turned 7 by the same date (birth years 2005 and 2006).
