2012 NOTICE OF RACE AMENDMENT #1- Applicable to the Viper Class ONLY.

INVITED CLASSES:

Swan 42, J80, J105, J24, Melges 24, J22, Etchells, 

Audi-Melges 20, Star, F-18, A Class Cats, Viper 640, K6, VX One, Snipe, 505, Club 420, Vanguard 15, 

Sunfish, Laser, Laser Radial

The following classes will race Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

J/24

Star

Viper (Friday racing will not count towards the 2012 New England Championship)

All other classes will race Saturday and Sunday only.

The Newport Regatta is proud to be the host this year for the following championships:

J24- 2012 Northeast Regional Championship

Vanguard 15- 2012 Atlantic Coast Championship

Viper 640- 2012 New England Championship

Thurs., July 12
1600-1900      BACARDI bar hours, late on-site Registration, Waiver drop off, Weigh-in and Check-in for classes sailing Friday
                          Location: Sail Newport Main Office

Fri., July 13
0800-0900    Late on-site Registration, waiver drop off, weigh-in and Check-in only for classes sailing Friday
                        Location: Sail Newport Main Office
1100               Initial Warning Signal for Friday classes
1600-1900    Late on-site Registration, Waiver drop off, and Check-In for Saturday-Sunday classes
                        Location: Sail Newport Mule Barn
1700-1900    BACARDI Welcome Party presented by Heineken, Under Tent at Mule Barn

Sat., July 14
0800-0900   Late on-site Registration, Waiver drop off, and Check-in for all Saturday and Sunday classes - Mule Barn
1100              Initial Warning Signal for all classes
1630-2030   Regatta Party presented by BACARDI

Sun., July 15
1100              Initial Warning Signal for all classes
1430              No Initial Warning Signal shall be made after this time for any Divisions except for Division 3
1500              No Initial Warning Signal shall be made after this time for Division 3
After Racing  Awards Ceremony and competitor reception presented by BACARDI

BOATS MAY ARRIVE:

DINGHIES (F-18, A Class Cats, Snipe, 505, Club 420, Vanguard 15, Sunfish, Laser, Laser Radial) MAY ARRIVE:
Friday, July 13 after 9 am and store boats and trailers on the grassy area hill by the Main Office

ALL BOATS MUST DEPART:
Monday, July 16 by 1700
