2012 SAIL NEWPORT MEMBERS' CHAMPIONSHIP
Announcing the 2012 Sail Newport Members' Championship, October 13 - 14
This Fall, join us for two days of action as we decide this year's champions in the Non-Spinnaker and Spinnaker divisions. Saturday, October 13 will feature racing for the Non-Spinnaker Championship in conjunction with this year's Sail for Hope regatta. Join the action and help raise money for a great cause while competing on a pair of unique, government buoy courses. Sunday's Spinnaker Championship will be decided on the waters between Rose and Goat Islands in traditional windward/leeward format. More information will be coming soon but, in the meantime, email Anderson Reggio if you have any questions.
2011 SPINNAKER CHAMPIONSHIP - Report
Sunday, October 23 - Light winds dominated the rescheduled attempt at the 2011 Sail Newport Members' Championship, Spinnaker Division. Only one race was to be completed as the breeze faded quickly over the course of the morning to tease but never return with any significant strength. Maggie Borden took the win in the sole race with Matt Chao a close second. Congrats to Maggie and her team for winning the first annual Spinnaker Division of the Sail Newport Members' Championship!

2011 NON-SPINNAKER CHAMPIONSHIP - Report
Saturday, October 8 - Four races were completed under beautiful sunny skies and a building southerly breeze. Congratulations to Steve Parks and his crew for winning this year's event in a tie breaker with Philip Dyer.
