2008 Youth Sailing Program Lottery Registration IS CLOSED!
The 2008 Sail Newport Youth Program Lottery was held on Feb 17/18 and results have been emailed to all lottery registrants.

Deadline for payment is Friday March 14th, or slots will be given to the waiting list.

Admittance into Sail Newport's Youth Programs is not handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the tremendous popularity of the program(s), a lottery is used to assign spaces in the various classes.
Online Lottery Registration will be available by clicking on the line "Go To Summer Registration" to the right, beginning on January 5, 2008. ONLINE Registration is the preferred (only) method of registering! We will not ask for any deposits in January. However, payments or financial aid forms will be required once student has been accepted into the program.
Please note that if you are trying to access this website using SAFARI browser, you may not be able to see all parts of the site, nor use the on-line registration. Use either FireFox or Internet Explorer for best results. You may stop by the Sail Newport Office to use one of our computers to complete the online registration as well.
Sail Newport collects all Dinghy, Little Guppy and Keelboat Classs registration forms from early January through February 16th, until 5 pm. (The Day of the Open House) This is NOT a first-come, first-served program.
If, after 5 pm on February 16th, any class, in any session has more registrations than slots available, THAT SESSION WILL GO TO A LOTTERY.
It is HIGHLY recommended to have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choices for the lottery, as you may not get into a first choice, but if you do not have alternate choices, you may be shut out of the program entirely.
Results of the Lottery will be posted online HERE the week of February 18.
If after February 16th at 5PM, there are spaces open in any of the classes, students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will continue through the spring until all slots are filled and thereafter a waiting list will be kept.
