The annual gifts of Sail Newport Members, Youth Sailing Program parents, and friends have an enormous impact on Sail Newport. Our annual success has also been due in part to the generosity of donors who believe in our mission. Gifts to the "Wind in our Sails" Annual Fund provide fundamental and immediate support to the sailing center for financial aid, faculty support, youth and adult sailing programs, and new initiatives. Gifts of all sizes are crucial to the success of our mission. There are no "small gifts." Your gift of any size reflects your commitment to Sail Newport and your desire to be part of the success here.
Many gifts to the Annual Fund may be enhanced through corporate matching gifts. If you or your spouse works for a matching gift company, you may be able to increase the size of your gift to Sail Newport. During the 2004-2005 year, $405,015 was contributed by over 400 members, parents and friends for our Fleet 2004 and 2005 campaigns! Donors to the Annual Fund may qualify for a variety of donor recognition programs.
