Sail Newport is hosting a combination of unique seminar in late April, 2012, designed to improve your 

powerboat handling skills in a race committee environment.


MARK BOAT OPERATIONS
INSTRUCTOR: Anderson Reggio, Sail Newport Race Manager, US SAILING Certified Club Race Officer
AGE
MINIMUM: 18
DATE: SUNDAY, APRIL 22
TIME: 0900 - 1600
REFRESHMENTS: Coffee will be provided, please bring your own bag lunch
BRING: Foul weather gear, PFD, hand-held gps (if you already have one), hand-held vhf (if you already have one)
COST: $60 per person for seminar, or $100 for both Saturday and Sunday courses

OVERALL GOALS
This unique one-day seminar will focus entirely on mark boat operations in a sailboat racing environment. 
 Even if you have worked on a mark boat before, come and advance your skills!
Started in response to the continued growth of professional sailing events in Narragansett Bay. Both shoreside discussions and on the water practice will allow mark boat operators the opportunity to further their skills and learn new techniques.
